The story behind Heguru Malaysia is truly captivating. It all began when Ms. Yuly Tam, the founder of Heguru Malaysia, stumbled upon a groundbreaking brain development program from Japan in 2008. This discovery not only transformed her perspective on children's development but also revolutionized early childhood education in Malaysia. Despite grappling with Dyslexia during her formative years, Ms. Yuly exhibited remarkable resilience, overcoming academic challenges in primary and secondary school. Fuelled by her unwavering determination, she pursued higher education in Australia, earning two degrees in Marketing and Human Resource Management. Transitioning from a corporate career, Ms. Yuly unearthed her true passion for nurturing children, inspired by her profound love for motherhood, leading her to pursue studies in early childhood education. Motivated by her own struggles with learning, she established a Montessori-based nursery in 2004 to spend more time with her child, eventually realizing her potential to positively impact the lives of other children. This journey culminated in the inception of Heguru Malaysia, a visionary approach to education derived from the Japanese HEGL education center, marking its debut in the vibrant Klang Valley in April 2009. Ms. Yuly, alongside her dedicated team, invested nearly a year in meticulous preparation for this groundbreaking venture. Since then, Heguru Malaysia has flourished, expanding to four additional centers across the nation, with its program garnering international recognition and adoption. From pioneering the use of English in teaching outside Japan to its global expansion across countries like Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Kuwait, Dubai, Myanmar, India, and beyond, Heguru's impact on early childhood education continues to resonate worldwide.
