Technical Engineer / Technical Specialist (Network)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and support data networks comprised of Cisco core and edge devices
• Provide support and network infrastructure environment, respond to escalation notices, perform root cause analysis and problem resolution
• 3+ years of experience building, deploying and support of enterprise class Cisco routers, switches and firewall technology
• Able to lead a team of assigned resources to implement large scale project involving multiple product/solution.
• Assists and work with Solution Architect/Pre-Sales Architect in leading architecture of the product/solution design.
• Generates conceptual, logical, and physical network architectures, documents, testing analyses, test plans, and risk assessments to ensure sound architecture that meets client needs.
• Uses proven technologies to develop solution sets to expand services across client base.
• Conducts network assessments to validate enterprise baseline and provide context for future network direction.
• Leads problem management and resolution in the support of deployed product/solution.
• Works with various vendor solutions and designs new network products to integrate with new and existing client environments.
• Experience with implementation and support of the Cisco Nexus product line (layer 2/3)
• Experience with implementation and support of the Network Performance Monitoring tools
• Demonstrate troubleshooting skills on a wide array of Cisco network products
• Experience with switching / routing protocols

REQUIREMENTS
• Certificates / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field in network computing/communication
• CCNA / CCNP certifications will be an added advantage
• 4 years of experience deploying and managing network infrastructure
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on network experience configuring routing protocols, switching and wireless configuration in medium / large network
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to lead the engineer on any designated Strategic Account, will have added advantages.
