Job Description
Product Design & Development: The designer will create personalized sportswear and medals/badges, tailoring designs to client preferences (brand themes, event styles). They will manage the entire design process, ensuring alignment with manufacturing requirements such as printing, embroidery, and metal casting. Functional needs like breathability and durability are also a key focus.
Client Collaboration: In this role, you will meet clients to understand their needs and offer design recommendations. You will help create design proposals, including renderings and material specifications, to support the sales team.
Market Research & Trend Analysis: Staying current with sportswear and medal design trends, you’ll analyze competitors and propose innovative directions to enhance your designs. Client feedback will help refine the work for better market positioning.
Design Asset Management: You'll maintain a library of brand/client design elements and archive files with detailed production guidelines.
II. Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Expertise in design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential, with additional skills in 3D modeling or rendering being a bonus.
Knowledge of sportswear fabrics and printing methods, along with an understanding of medal production processes, is required.
Aesthetic & Creative Skills:
A strong understanding of sports trends and brand aesthetics is key, as is the ability to translate abstract ideas into visual designs.
Soft Skills:
Clear communication and the ability to work in teams are essential, as well as excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sportswear design or an interest in sports culture and hand-drawing skills are highly valued.
