Purchasing Executive

Job Description
1 Procurement and Vendor Management
- Manage purchase orders (PO) for stock replenishment, new products, and customized materials for the warehouse and suppliers.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including handling disputes or claims regarding product shortages or quality issues.
2. Inventory and Stock Control
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels and forecast inventory needs.
- Maintain accurate records of stock details, including product codes, sizes, colors, and quantities.
- Track and handle discontinuations or changes in supplier offerings.
3. Logistics and Delivery
- Track shipments to ensure timely delivery, updating internal stakeholders on delivery statuses and ETAs.
- Resolve delivery issues, such as missing items, damages, or incorrect quantities, with suppliers or logistics partners.
4. Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain detailed procurement records, including costing, shipping fees, payment details and logistics details.
- Track and update shipment statuses, delivery dates, and other logistics-related data in internal systems.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is compulsory for supplier communication.
- Willing to relocate/travel in Kapar, Klang.
