Excelsior Consulting started as Rajendram & Co. in 1963. Strategically located in Weld Quay, adjacent to Georgetown’s CBD, close to Penang’s vibrant free port harbor. The firm’s proximity to the Banking District in Beach Street attracted a pool of sole traders, business partnerships and corporations, within Penang’s pioneering business community. Clients ranged from various industries spanning, trading, retail, manufacturing, agriculture and service industries – spearheading Penang’s early commercial business landscape in the mid-1960s. Amidst the early client lists were rising independent professional lawyers, doctors and even (5-Star) Penang Hawkers, in need of professional accounting and tax services. A merger with Excelsior Management Services (Pg) occurred in 1988 to form Stanton-Excelsior Management Services, which later evolved into Excelsior Consulting in 2012. The firm’s core business initially involved accounting, tax & company secretarial services. However, as the years progressed, strategic alliances were formed with Kuala Lumpur-based firms such as, Goonting & Chew to expand Audit services, and James & Co. for liquidation services. With a solid base of clients for over 50 years, the Company entered into financial consulting and corporate advisory roles to assist clients to navigate challenging business environments.

Job Description

Job Vacancy: Accounts & Audit Assistants
Company: Excelsior Consulting Sdn. Bhd.
Location: Georgetown, Penang
Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary: RM2,000 and above (based on experience)

We are looking for dedicated Accounts and Audit Assistants to join our growing team.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience in audit or accounting is an advantage

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software

Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Able to work independently and in a team

Possessing own transport is an added advantage
