What It Takes to Thrive at Swish
We’re not just looking for skills - we’re looking for heart, energy, and the right mindset. Here’s what makes someone shine in this role:
Weekend Availability You’ll need to be available for at least two weekend sessions, each lasting around 3.5 to 4 hours. This consistency helps build trust with your swimmers - and lets you witness their progress week after week.
Professionalism with a Smile A positive, respectful attitude goes a long way. Whether you’re greeting a parent or guiding a nervous swimmer, your ability to stay upbeat and approachable is key to creating a warm, encouraging atmosphere.
People-First Personality You enjoy making connections - with kids, parents, and your teammates. You’re someone who listens well, communicates clearly, and brings good vibes wherever you go.
Calm in the Chaos Emergencies happen - but you don’t panic. You know how to stay composed, think fast, and act safely when the unexpected arises.
When you bring these qualities to the pool, you’re not just teaching - you’re making memories, building confidence, and being a part of something truly meaningful.
