Job Description
1.Check the progress of the construction works and feedback to the Site Manager about any defects or problems relating to the construction works.
2.Supervise, coordinate the construction works and to confirm whether the works are done in accordance to the consultant’s or client’s specifications or plans.
3.Assist in trouble – shooting of any matters, problems related to the construction works in progress.
4.Organize and coordinate rework programmes of any part of the buildings built not complying to certain Requirements, Acts or Regulations.
5.Assist the Quantity Surveyor in preparing tenders as and when necessary.
6.Assist in preparing work programmes or schedules to support the site Management in the presentation of work programmes or schedules to the consultant during the Site Meetings.
7.Assist in the calibration of measuring tapes.
8.Responsible to assist the Project / Site Manager in the hazard and risk identification and assessment.
9.Responsible to monitor on the OHSAS management system implementation on the site.
10.Support the Project / Site Manager and report any new hazard identified in the site for registration.
11.Monitor the OHSAS program in respective site and ensure the objective is achieved.
12.Tabulate and analyze the data for OHSAS objective for monitoring.
13.Any other job functions which may be assigned by the Management from time to time including being member of site safety committee.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Candidate must possess minimum Degree /Diploma in Building / Civil Engineering / Arch. or equivalent.
*At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the Construction field is required for this position.
*Salary commensurate with experience and qualification.
