Interior Designer: Site-Based (Design & Build Projects)

Job Requirements – Interior Designer (Site-Based at Pantai Dalam KL)
Education & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Professional certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software is an advantage.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in 2D drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, etc.).

Good command of construction documentation, detailing, and shop drawings.

Familiarity with site measurement, verification, and as-built drawings.

Competent in using Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent for presentation boards and mood visuals.

Good understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction methods.

Experience & Work Background:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in design-and-build projects.

Proven track record of working on site-based roles, coordinating with contractors and suppliers.

Experience in producing weekly site progress reports and managing design implementation on-site.

Soft Skills & Attitude:
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Strong sense of accountability, able to work independently and resolve site issues proactively.

Detail-oriented with a high level of design integrity and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to adapt and work under tight timelines or changing site conditions.

Enthusiastic about maintaining design quality during execution phase.

Availability:
Must be based in or willing to work full-time at site in Pantai Dalam, Kuala Lumpur.

Available for immediate start or within short notice preferred.
