CDC's pioneering product, ePerolehan, launched successfully in 2000, has been instrumental in transforming the Government’s procurement process, propelling Malaysia towards a digital economy. Moreover, it has played a significant role in enhancing transparency and accountability across government agencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Start up, enable, invoke, and shut down jobs, utilities, and programs according to the plan, schedule, or as requested.
- Monitor I/O indicators, disk space utilization, memory, database, applications, network, and background jobs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Continuously track system performance and alert the Administrator if performance degrades or falls below the agreed level.
- Participate in round-the-clock (24/7) duty rotation, communicate with peers and managers regarding issues and perform off-hour change controls.
- Manage, monitor, and maintain all servers and equipment to ensure availability and good condition.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of supporting systems/equipment within the Data Center, such as air conditioning, firefighting systems, UPS, etc.
- Log and update the status of all issues and abnormalities in the Data Center, alerting the Supervisor or System Administrator immediately to address problems.
- Assist the System Maintenance Team with scheduled maintenance activities and ensure signoff by the Supervisor.
- Aid in hardware and software installation, upgrades, and applying patches and fixes.
- Support the production operations environment, including managing multiple servers, networking, batch processing, backups, and related activities.
- Keep track of system manuals and maintain cleanliness in the Data Center area.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Up to 3 years of proven working experience in Data Center operations.
