Job Description
1.2 Consult with all the managers to ensure that the safe work system is planned and implemented.
1.3 Assist in investigation of incidents occurred and submit reports to management where necessary.
1.4 Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents and occupational disease.
1.5 To supervise and advice overall safety, health and environment activities in the organization.
1.6 Interact with local authorities and clients to ensure compliance with various codes and requirements.
1.7 Liaise with Department of Safety & Health (DOSH) and BOMBA during inspection and audits.
1.8 Registration of machineries under DOSH and annual renewal of the Certificate of Fitness.
1.9 Assist with implementation of HSE plans in compliance with statutory laws, company's policies and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) related to the health and safety.
1.10 Enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics for site personnel in safety and health matters.
1.11 Responds to employee's safety concern, suggestions and near miss incidents.
1.12 Promote safety and health awareness among employees by conduct safety awareness training periodically for all the departments.
1.13 Trains and carries out twining and exercises of how to manage emergency situation and evacuation.
Conduct fire drill annually. Ensure ERT team is formed and functional.
1.14 Plan, schedule and implement program related to environment, health and safety at workplace such as CHRA, Noise Monitoring, LEV Motoring, Audiometric and etc.
1.15 Conduct workplace inspection periodically for all the area to ensure comply with Safety & Health specifications and regulations.
1.16 Maintain all the fire fighting and emergency equipment in the company.
1.17 Ensure Safety Induction is given to all the new employees and new contractors that enter into premise.
1.18 Organize quarterly Safety & Health Committee meeting to discuss and update on Safety & Health matters.
