Job Summary :
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our hotel team. The Ideal candidates will assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, and other inquiries, while ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibility :
Guest Services
- Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and special requests.
- Provide information on hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and transportation.
- Address guest complaints and requests professionally and ensure guest satisfaction.
Night Audit
- Balance and reconcile daily guest transactions, payments and room charges.
- Prepare financial and operational reports for the management team.
- Post charges, adjustments and taxes to guest account as necessary.
- Ensure the accuracy of room rates, invoices, , and all financial postings.
- Review and process daily reports (revenue, occupancy, no-shows, etc.)
Administrative Support
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage online booking platforms.
- Process payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Update and maintain the front desk's daily logbook.
- Assist in handling administrative duties such as sorting email, managing keys, ensuring security protocols are followed.
Collaboration
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Positive attitudes and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- The role may involve standing for long periods and performing tasks that may require lifting or moving heavy items.
- The role includes overnight shifts, and candidates should be comfortable working during nighttime hours.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in Malay and English (both spoken and written).
- Salary:
- 1.500,00 MYR Monthly
