Job Description

1. HACCP Co-Ordinator – 1 Position
Location : Bandar Enstek Nilai Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM 1,800.00

Summary of Duties:
✓ This role is responsible for developing, and managing the Food Safety Management System for all catering and hospitality food areas of the business. Working with department managers to ensure ongoing compliance and audits, elevating of standards and appropriate training of personnel. Ensuring that food products are safe for consumers. Essential duties can involve inspecting food processing facilities and procedures to ensure that applicable regulations are being followed. Also to test samples of food products and investigates complaints
Job Duties and Responsibilities
✓ Maintenance and coordination of a company food safety program to maintain statutory compliance. Compliance to the prescribed legal requirement in the Food Industry.
✓ Coordinating and assisting with technical training and overall competency to management and employees with regards to the operational aspects of the food safety program, pest control, environmental, operational methods and personnel practices, and maintenance for food safety and hygiene /cleaning practices
✓ To complete food suppliers audit- HACCP system implemented, identifying corrective actions required and escalation of major concerns and ensure action there of as required.
✓ To liaise with Local Authority and enforcement officials are required.
✓ Co-ordinate the ongoing development requirements of the department’s food safety program and compliance carrying out internal audits
✓ Nurture good working relationships both within and across departments- food safety program.
✓ Ensure that all registers and records and documentation relating to the role are properly maintained.
✓ Work closely with other safety roles within the company
✓ Be responsible for management of own workload escalating issues or workloads which become unmanageable.
Requirement
✓ Posses a Diploma/ Degree in Food Science and Technology. Public Health, or related field.
✓ Minimum 1 year relevant experience in HACCP,HSE and OSHA
✓ Know and have experience in First Aid
✓ Good communication skills, interpersonal, leadership, passion to work, accurate and able to work under pressure.
