Forwarding Clerk

Monitor and coordinate import & export shipments and transport arrangement with relevant parties to ensure smooth operations and shipment implementation
Responsible for end to end customer engagement, i.e. proactive communication, update on shipment status, handling of customers’ complaints professionally and escalation of issues to superior if necessary
Prepare customs documents, i.e. K1, K2, K3, K8, K9 and etc.
Prepare shipping documents, i.e. Preferential Certificate of Origin and etc.
Handle and fulfill shipment requirements from other government agencies, such as MAQIS, LKIM, MTIB, MIDA, MITI, CIDB, SIRIM and etc.
Handle import and export declarations to relevant authorities and attend to any queries from them
Prepare high quality documents and ensure accurate billings to customers
Responsible for receivables and payables of assigned accounts
