Job Description
a) Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
b) Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
c) Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their wishes and concerns.
d) Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
e) Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
f) Represent the company at exhibitions or conferences.
g) Negotiate and close deals while addressing complaints or objections.
h) Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
i) Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
j) Attend weekly event meeting.
k) Maintain the sales department's main correspondence database.
l) Assist with the compilation of annual budgets, business plans and regular action plans.
m) Support the preparation of new products and services.
n) Meet individual and group business targets on a monthly and yearly basis, responding promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from
customers and prospects.
o) Assist clients with suite bookings and the organization of events and functions to achieve sales targets.
p) Conduct regular sales visits and service contacts via telephone, maintaining existing accounts while focusing on new ones to expand the
overall customer base.
q) Contribute to the development of sales promotions and strategies by submitting recommendations to the HOD for reviews and approval.
r) Work closely with other departments to arrange accommodations, services, and special events for booked business.
Requirements:
a) Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field will be an added advantage.
b) Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
c) Strong negotiation and networking skills.
d) Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
e) Solid understanding of hotel operations and services.
f) Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
g) Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Salary:
- RM 3,000.00 Monthly
