Job Description
Marketing Specialist / Marketing Executive
Responsibilities
1. Brand Promotion
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand recognition and market presence in the sportswear industry.
Communicate a compelling brand story, focusing on professionalism, style, and functionality, to engage target audiences.
2. Event Collaboration and Promotion
Identify and build strategic partnerships with marathon organizers, sports institutions, and running communities to create customized marketing campaigns.
Promote the brand during events through banners, sponsorships, and other brand exposure opportunities at race start/finish points or prize sponsorships.
3. Content Planning and Creation
Create captivating content related to sportswear, including product descriptions, key features, and marathon stories that resonate with runners.
Produce high-quality videos, images, and short films for social media promotion and digital marketing campaigns
4. Social Media Management
Oversee and optimize social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) to drive audience engagement and brand visibility.
Organize interactive online campaigns, such as running challenges or outfit-sharing contests, to increase brand exposure and foster community interaction.
5. Product Marketing Support
Plan and execute product launch campaigns to successfully introduce new products to the market.
Collect customer feedback and collaborate with the design and production teams to refine product offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
6. Market Research and Competitive Analysis
Stay updated on trends in the running industry, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies to inform marketing decisions.
Conduct regular analysis to identify new opportunities for brand positioning and product development.
7. Event Planning and Execution
Represent the company at key industry expos, trade shows, and sports events to showcase products and boost brand influence.
Organize and execute community events, including runner meetups and brand activations, to deepen customer engagement with the brand.
Required Skills
1. Marketing Experience
1–3 years of experience in marketing, branding, or a related field.
Prior experience in the sportswear industry or working with marathon events is a plus.
2. Content Creation and Strategy
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to create engaging content that resonates with runners and outdoor enthusiasts.
Creative mindset to design innovative and impactful marketing campaigns and activities.
3. Social Media Expertise
Proven ability to manage and grow social media presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Skilled in increasing brand visibility and engagement through social media strategies and influencer partnerships.
4. Digital Marketing Skills
Experience running digital advertising campaigns and using SEO tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics to optimize performance.
Knowledge in tracking and measuring campaign ROI and adjusting strategies to maximize results.
5. Communication and Collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Ability to work closely with event organizers, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
6. Project Management
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple marketing initiatives, meet deadlines, and deliver on marketing goals.
7. Market Insight
In-depth understanding of running culture, marathon trends, and consumer behavior to identify and leverage market opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience participating in or working with marathons or other running events, providing valuable insight into runners' needs.
Familiarity with the design, production, or sale of sportswear products.
Proficiency in photo and video editing tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Premiere.
Established relationships with race organizers, running communities, or relevant brands to help expand marketing opportunities.
