Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER(SHO)
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations according to client requirements, company requirements, ISO requirements, and all authorities’ requirements.
• Record maintains all necessary documents.
• Monitoring and controlling safety and compliance in the organization as per the Safety and Health Act 1994 and the organization's safety policy.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the workplace to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
• Advising the management on safety issues as well as developing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Carrying out safety inspection an internal audits and reporting to management with suggestions and measures for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
• To lead safety committees and meetings to discuss safety concerns and initiatives.
• Ensure all staff complies with those regulations, including compliance with Environmental regulations.
• Provide and initiate SHE training to ensure all employees are fully aware and adequately trained according to legislation requirements.
• Submit annually the necessary documents to DOSH as required by the Act.
• Coordinate and liaise with relevant authorities (JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
• Liaise with Bomba on fire prevention, evacuation and conduct fire drill training.
• Assist all visiting government officers and consult related to safety, health and environment.
• Perform any other relevant/ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior/Management.
Salary:
RM 4,000.00 Monthly
