Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead a small team in conducting quality control processes throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective training programs for operators.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and address areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with various departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality documentation.
• Ensure effective implementation of the Quality and Management Policy/ Objectives
• Maintenance review and auditing of the quality systems/ procedures/ instructions/ records of the quality system. Ensure the implementation of internal audit.
• Responsible for release of all approved SOPs to the related departments
• Ensure preparation of necessary quality control records for product shipment
• Determination of inspection and testing techniques
• To liaise/lead with internal and external customer on quality issues and able to response to their request effectively. Coordinate and participate in Supplier/Customer audit.
• To actively involved in the quality improvement activities and promote continuous improvement.
• Liaise with customers for corrective actions to be taken in the company.
• Recommend operational improvement on quality/ environmental performance to Top Management
• Responsible to conduct Management Review meeting
• To lead, motivate the subordinates to achieve the company objectives and goals.
• To understand the customer specification and requirements and comply to or exceeding these requirements.
• Monthly PRT, ICPA and IPQA report compilation and monitoring.
• Monthly PDCA, BFT, PRT GSRS compilation/monitoring and Quality PRT report compilation.
