Job Description
To enforce effective financial and operational controls to safeguard the assets of the company
To ensure treasury activities and manage cash flow to ensure efficient use of funds
To monitor and improve the current systems and procedures to ensure total integrity and compliance with statutory, and legal accounting standards and taxation requirements, avoidance of fraud, and efficient and accurate management of information
To prepare financial reporting, notes of accounts, and other management reports
Able to handle full set of accounts; ensure timely reporting and closing of monthly reports.
Ensure all supporting schedules and notes to the accounts are updated and accurate.
Monitor and check on subordinate work quality and ensure accurate data entries & SOP compliance issues within the department
Able to handle customer’s complaints in relation to billing issues.
Monitor outstanding fees/collections from time to time and report to management for review and action.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring variance.
Liaise with the external auditor, tax agent, and company secretary in relation to audit, tax, and company secretarial issues.
To undertake any other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time
monitoring Profit and loss statement
Qualifications:
Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
1 year of working experience in Account Payable / Account Receivable / Account Journal Entry functions.
