Job Description
Salary: RM3,000 - RM3,999 per month
Job Description:
We are looking for a Site Safety Supervisor to join our construction team in Sungai Buloh. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on the construction site by implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and addressing any safety concerns.
Responsibilities:
Monitor Site Safety: Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Implement Safety Protocols: Ensure all workers and subcontractors adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and risks, and propose corrective actions to mitigate them.
Accident Investigations: Lead investigations for any on-site accidents and prepare incident reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Safety Training: Organize safety briefings, inductions, and emergency drills for all on-site personnel.
Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation as per legal and company requirements.
Emergency Management: Ensure all emergency procedures are in place, including evacuation plans and emergency equipment.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
Certifications: Yellow Book (Construction Safety Supervisor) certification, and Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) or relevant safety certifications are required.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar safety supervisor role, preferably in the construction industry.
Knowledge: Good knowledge of safety laws and regulations in the construction industry (DOSH, OSHA, etc.).
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail, and proactive in addressing safety concerns.
