Orlin Academy provides early intervention programmes for special education needs age two (2) to eighteen (18) years old. The intervention classes are conducted in a small group of five to six students per session. The goal of Orlin Academy is to establish environments that are safe, courteous, encouraging and challenging for every child. This is done through understanding the needs and characteristics of young children as well as the many interrelated factors that affect their growth and learning. The programmes offer experiences and opportunities to foster a child’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth. Our centre consists of students with various special needs such as Mild Intellectual Impairment, Mild Autism Spectrum Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Learning Disability, Sensory Integration Disorder, Speech Impairment, GDD (Global Development Delay) and Impulsive Behaviour. We believe that by providing them with a quality education, training and early intervention programs, we are actually giving them the same opportunity in life through empowering them with education. Our Individual Educational Plan (IEP) is structured and suitable to be applied both in classroom and daily activities. Our program is to help the child to improve their eye contact, hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills and basic cognitive concept.

Job Description

1.Managing the enrollment and registration of children.
2.Receiving and welcoming children to the classroom.
3.Handling children's activities according to their age groups.
4. Planning and implementing teaching and learning activities in accordance with instructions, policies, and guidelines.
5.Planning and conducting daily, weekly, and annual teaching activities.
6.Conducting continuous assessments of children's development in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.
7.Performing cleanliness-related duties.
8.Ensuring the safety, cleanliness, health, comfort, and happiness of children throughout the teaching and learning sessions.
9.Organizing/preparing activity corners or spaces and teaching aids appropriate to the daily lessons.
10.Managing classroom documents and files (e.g., Teacher’s Planner, students’ logbook, and Progress Report).
11.Updating and preparing data/information/records/reports as per the time and instructions given (e.g., activity reports/monthly class reports/output specifications).
12.Planning, managing, and conducting co-curricular activities and classroom programs.
13.Acting as the Assistant Teacher in their absence.
14.Attending workshops, training sessions, courses, seminars, or conferences as directed by the company.
15.Performing other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.
Salary:
RM 1,800.00 Monthly
