Orlin Academy provides early intervention programmes for special education needs age two (2) to eighteen (18) years old. The intervention classes are conducted in a small group of five to six students per session. The goal of Orlin Academy is to establish environments that are safe, courteous, encouraging and challenging for every child. This is done through understanding the needs and characteristics of young children as well as the many interrelated factors that affect their growth and learning. The programmes offer experiences and opportunities to foster a child’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth. Our centre consists of students with various special needs such as Mild Intellectual Impairment, Mild Autism Spectrum Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Learning Disability, Sensory Integration Disorder, Speech Impairment, GDD (Global Development Delay) and Impulsive Behaviour. We believe that by providing them with a quality education, training and early intervention programs, we are actually giving them the same opportunity in life through empowering them with education. Our Individual Educational Plan (IEP) is structured and suitable to be applied both in classroom and daily activities. Our program is to help the child to improve their eye contact, hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills and basic cognitive concept.

Job Description

1.Manage the intake and registration of children.
2.Receive and welcome the arrival of children in the classroom.
3.Assist in managing children's activities according to age.
4.Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing teaching and learning according to the instructions, policies and guidelines set.
5.Assist in implementing daily, weekly and annual teaching activities.
6.Assist the class teacher in making continuous assessments of children's development in the effective cognitive and psychomotor domains.
7.Perform hygiene tasks.
8.Ensure the safety, cleanliness, health, comfort and happiness of children throughout the teaching and learning session.
9.Arrange / provide activity corners / spaces and teaching aids / materials appropriate to daily learning.
10.Assist the class teacher in managing class documents and files (for example: Register Book, Children's Portfolio, Children's Progress Records).
11. Updating, preparing relevant data / information / records / reports according to the time and instructions set (for example, class activity / monthly reports, output specifications.
12. Assisting, managing and implementing co-curricular activities / programs and class programs.
13. Carrying out the duties of a class teacher when necessary.
14. Attending workshops / training courses / seminars / conferences directed by the company.
15. Carrying out tasks directed from time to time according to company guidelines.
Salary:
RM 1,500.00 Monthly
