Job Description

• Financial Year End : 31st December
• Assist on corporate exercise
• Handle full set account, on time account closing 7th working days of the following month
• Organize stock take align with accounting requirements
• Provide support for all accounting functions, including account payable, receivable and general ledger
• Perform daily bank reconciliation and monitoring
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate both internally and externally the completeness account audits
• Ensure tax submissions accurately reflect all transactions within tax reporting
• Coordinate both internally and externally the completeness tax audits, tax field audit, tax investigation if any.
• Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• To recommend / implement improvement in internal control system
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
• University/College Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• ACCA / MICPA Certified is a MUST
• Good understanding of Malaysian tax and accounting regulations, IFRS
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
• Good communication and analytical skills and ability to work in the team
