Job Description

Job Scope:
• Responsible for overseeing a specific kitchen section and ensuring food is prepared to high standards.
• Supervise and guide chefs and kitchen assistants within the section.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes according to company standards.
• Ensure proper and timely preparation during service periods.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist in stock ordering, and reduce wastage.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene standards, and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations during events and daily service.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and section-specific cooking techniques.
• Ability to manage a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Formal culinary training or diploma is preferred.

Salary Range (Market Rate - Johor Bahru):
• Basic Salary: RM3000 – RM4000 per month
• Incentives: Trip allowances or performance-based bonuses (e.g., RM10–RM30 per successful trip/set-up, depending on distance and complexity)
• Overtime Pay: Based on workload and event timing
• Other Benefits: EPF, SOCSO, and possible meal allowance
