Job Description

A leading logistics MNC has a vacancy for an experienced IT Manager with working experience in 3PL/logistics company and skilled in implementing and providing support for Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System and other logistics system for customers and internal departments.

Responsibilities

The IT Manager is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of various customised systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), and Freight Forwarding System (FFS) for new customers and using these systems as operation enablers. He shall then ensure efficient and effective IT support for customers and internal operations covering warehouse, hubs, branches and corporate office on 24/7 basis.

• Supervise IT team in day-to-day operations and functions and the outsourced vendor (where applicable) to provide efficient IT support to both customers and internal departments/branches/hubs.
• Ensure quality infrastructure, stable network and adequate connectivity across the entire company to access all systems.
• Work closely with business leaders and customers to analyse customer system requirements, design, develop and fulfil their business and operations requirements.
• Lead the implementation, testing, usage, troubleshooting, and reporting of all systems modules, functions, interfaces, etc.
• Design system solutions and improve existing solutions to increase operations efficiencies.
• Liaise with regional IT team and IT vendors to feed back local requirements for customised IT systems developed by Group Head Office.
• Provide support to business development team, involve in RFPs/RFQs and make presentations to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar IT studies.
• Must be proficient in various logistics application systems such as WMS, TMS, FFS with project implementation experience for customers (retail/FMCG industry an advantage).
• At least 8 years working experience in logistics/3PL company with the last 4 years at managerial level
• Good interpersonal, analytical & troubleshooting skills.
• Approachable, responsive to customer needs especially emergency requests, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese, written and spoken.
• Willing to standby/attend to emergency. Based in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Salary:
RM 12,000.00 Monthly
