Job Description
Sales and Lead Generation:
Prospecting new clients and generating leads for events.
Managing the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal.
Presenting products, services, and event packages to clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Understanding the client’s needs and objectives for their event.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Communicating clearly with clients about timelines, budgets, and event logistics.
Event Coordination:
Collaborating with other teams, such as event planners, venue staff, and caterers, to coordinate all event details.
Assisting with event logistics, including scheduling and coordination.
Ensuring all aspects of the event are executed according to the client's expectations.
Negotiation and Contracts:
Preparing and negotiating contracts, ensuring both parties are satisfied with terms.
Handling inquiries and adjustments to ensure clients' needs are met before and during the event.
Target Achievement:
Meeting sales targets and revenue goals set by the organization.
Reporting on sales activities and results to senior management.
Customer Service:
Providing top-notch customer service during pre-event preparation and post-event follow-up.
Resolving any issues or concerns that arise during event planning or execution.
Required Skills:
Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to persuade and close sales.
Strong Communication: Clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and vendors.
Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple details simultaneously.
Organization and Time Management: Managing deadlines and multiple clients and events at once.
Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing issues and finding solutions.
Typical Qualifications:
Experience in sales, customer service, or event planning.
A background in hospitality, marketing, or communications is a plus.
Knowledge of event planning software and tools.
