Job Description

Role Description

A Process Engineer is responsible for implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness without compromise with quality. Key responsibilities include process development, where to create or modify processes to improve performance; data analysis, to monitor and evaluate process performance, optimization and identify areas for improvement; and leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, enhancing throughput, and implementing innovative new technologies

Job Description

1. Process Development: Involves creating or modifying manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for enhanced productivity and process optimization. This includes evaluating and recommending suitable equipment for new or improved processes, selecting appropriate technologies, and implementing methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

2. Data Analysis: Involves analyzing and integrating the most suitable new or existing technologies to optimize operations without compromising quality. This includes evaluating data to identify trends, improve processes, and ensure efficiency and quality in manufacturing.

3. Process Optimization: enhancing manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and improving existing processes, reducing waste, increasing output, and introducing innovative technologies. You will work to cut costs while maintaining or improving product quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvements that drive overall productivity and profitability.

4. Implementation: Involves putting into action the developed processes, technologies, equipment, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize manufacturing operations, ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently.

5. Collaboration: Involves working closely with relevant departments and teams, such as production, quality, and engineering, to share insights, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the successful implementation of process improvements and data-driven solutions, fostering a team-oriented approach to optimize operations and achieve common goals.

Qualifications & requirements

*Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing related field.
*3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the specific industry (plastic, packaging, printing, pharmaceutical, food)
*Internship experience in process engineering can be beneficial
*Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken.
Salary:
RM 2,800.00 Monthly
